I was greeted by their adorable pug dog who was roaming outside and, to my delight, literally asked me to open the door so he could come in. He’s incredibly friendly and absolutely loves belly rubs, adding a personal and heartwarming touch to the visit. As for the lemon pie, it was perfectly balanced between tart and sweet, with a flaky crust that complements the zesty filling beautifully. However, given that we were their first customers for the day when we visited in the morning, the pie wasn’t freshly baked—it was served cold, which slightly diminished the experience. Despite this, the flavors were still great. The rustic charm of the café, combined with the cozy ambiance and friendly staff (and pug!), makes this a must-visit spot in Sagada. Just a tip: it might be better to visit later in the day when the pies might be fresher. ”
